The new route is part of DAN AIR’s strategic expansion across the Caucasus and Middle East regions. Alongside the Bucharest–Yerevan connection, the carrier will also introduce direct services to Amman (Jordan), Tbilisi (Georgia), and Aleppo (Syria).

According to DAN AIR, the decision to expand its network responds to growing demand for direct air connectivity between Europe and the Caucasus region, strengthening ties with Armenian and Romanian diaspora communities and enhanced travel convenience for tourists, business travelers, and VFR (visiting friends and relatives) passengers.

The Bucharest–Yerevan corridor is expected to stimulate bilateral tourism, trade, and cultural exchange, offering travelers a reliable, non-stop option between the two capitals.
